Question: Nintendo DS Gaming system?
( Back )
Answer #1:
I'll answer the last question first. If you don't like Nintendo anymore, or have lost faith in it, yes, jump off. But otherwise, I would say DS Lite, because I love GBA games.Answer #2:
I'd probably invest in a DSi XL, and that's only because the screen is bigger and the stylus is bigger. The stylus I have now gives me hand cramps. It's tiny!Answer #3:
Nintendo DS.... is a more youth-oriented gaming system to say the least. If you want more challenging games and T + ratings, I would go for a PSP.Anyway, if you do decide to get a Nintendo DS, i would go with the lite. The camera is okay, but you are buying the thing to play games, not to take photos. And I think you will find that you won't even use the camera if you already have a camera. So to me, it seems like a fun little thing, but unnecessary. Also, you would be able some more games with the saved money. I think you may be able to trade in for a newer game system at Game Stop and the like, but that offer may not be available for the first generation Nintendo DS.
I have the Lite, and it is pretty good. I like the fact that I can easily play with other people through the wifi connection, or the friend codes for long ditance (as long as you have internet). I've actually used those features quite a bit.
edit- another thing to add is the fact that you can play game boy advance games on it. which is nice.

DS Lite. the DSi isn't worth the extra money for the slow internet connection, the camera can't do much except post your pics on facebook, and the cheap DSiware games (some are fun, some are just frustrating...) You can't play GBA games (which is sad cuz i have a treasure trove of unfinished ones...) and you can still play the same DS games as the DS lite...(Of course of you do get the DSi, then you get Bowsers inside Story free (they just now started doing that and i looked like sh** after spending $34+ on that game...)As for games, get The World Ends With You BEST EVUR!!!, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, Sonic Rush Adventure, Chrono Trigger, Lunar Knights (I miss Boktai, google it) and bowsers inside story. good for 999+ hours of gameplay (exaggeration, but they'll keep you occupied for a long time...)
If you have any question between two or more DS games, I'd be happy to decide for you.
